A special photo exhibition in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of 1956 Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight has been opened during a ceremony on 7th November at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History (NMKCH). The exhibition was designed in collaboration with The House of Terror Museum in Hungary to reflect the historical significance of the Hungarian Revolution and its implications for the relationship between Hungary and South Korea. The opening remarks of Director Kim Yong-Jick from the NMKCH and H.E. Gábor Csaba, Ambassador of Hungary – also acknowledging the contributions by The House of Terror Museum – were followed by a bilingual guided tour around the exhibition and a reception. The exhibition will be open to the public until 22nd January 2017.
