On October 28, 2020, Ambassador Dr. Mózes Csoma participated on the 20th anniversary event of the Korean Joongang Daily, and gave a greeting speech in Korean language to the representatives of the Korean political-business elite. Former UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon also participated on the event. During their discussion the Ambassador thanked the politician’s former support toward the Hungarian freedom fight in 1956. At that time, Ban ki-mun was student, and wrote a protesting letter about the repression of the Hungarian revolution to the UN secretary-general Dag Hammarskjöld.
