On August 20, 2021, to commemorate the foundation of the Hungarian state, Ambassador Dr. Mózes Csoma presented the state awards given by János Áder, President of the Republic Hungary, in the garden of his residence. Ro Jae Hun, an international lawyer and the founding Chairman of the Korean-Hungarian Friendship Association (son of the former President Ro Tae-woo), received the Gold Cross of Merit of Hungary as an acknowledgment of his role in the development of the bilateral relations. Jang Siho, senior advisor of the Samsung Electronics company received the Gold Cross of Merit of Hungary for the development of the Hungarian-Korean economic relations.
