On July 21, 2022, the Mayor of the city of Seoul, Mr. Oh Se-hoon, announced the Hungarian ambassador Dr. Csoma Mózes as Honorary Citizen of the City of Seoul. With this, the Mayor recognized the Hungarian ambassador's diplomatic activities during the last four years, as well as his work as a researcher and historian of the Korean Studies. Former Korean Ambassador to Budapest, Mr. Suh Dae-won; President of the Korean-Hungarian Friendship Association, Mr. Ro Jae Hun; and Hungarian honorary consul, Mr. Ryu Kwon-ha attended on the ceremony.
