Joint exhibition of contemporary Hungarian and Korean painters in Seoul  

The art exhibition „Korean – Hungarian Bridge,” jointly organized by the Koncz Gallery from Hungary and the Capital (Craft21) Gallery in Seoul, was opened in Seoul on 4 August 2014. The artworks on display are a careful selection of talented contemporary Korean and Hungarian painters, including paintings by Árpád Bényi, Attila Boros, István Cene Gál, Tamás Csató, János Duschanek and János Pleidell.

The event is part of the series of programs celebrating the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Hungary and the Republic of Korea in 2014. The exhibition will be open to the public until 18 August 2014. The exhibition was opened by Mrs Lyu Woon Me, President of the World Artist Interaction Association and H.E. Gábor Csaba, Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Korea. The opening ceremony and the following reception were attended by several representatives of the Diplomatic Corps as well as of cultural and economic life in Seoul.
