14/04/2015 Seoul

Hungarian President János Áder visited the Republic of Korea on 11-14 April 2015. During his opening speech at the 7th World Water Forum in Daegu President Áder proposed drafting a comprehensive international agreement on the coordinated use of common catchment areas. The Hungarian President also visited the renowned Keimyung University in Daegu, where he was welcomed by Synn Ilhi, President of the University and Lee Jae Nyung, President of the Hungarian-Korean Friendship Association of Daegu. On 14 April Korean President Park Geun-hye received President Áder in the Blue House. During their meeting the two leaders reviewed the development of bilateral relations and potential areas of further cooperation.

23/04/2015 Gyeongju

The Embassy of Hungary participated at the Tour Expo Daegu Gyeongbuk organized in Gyeongju between 23-26 April 2015. This year 280 booths were set up to promote the touristic programs of 30 countries and local Korean agencies. The event attracted about 50.000 visitors.

25/04/2015 Seoul

The Embassy of Hungary participated at the biggest wine and spirits festival of South Korea held in Seoul between 23-25 April 2015. The wines and spirits offered for tasting at the Hungarian booth received great interest from both the professional audience and the regular visitors of the fair.
